Before becoming a photographer I was a teacher. I taught music in both public and private school settings for 13 years and still hold a teaching certificate. I’m also just a few classes shy of completing my masters degree in photography. Needless to say, I am passionate about both photography AND teaching.
The crash course for adults is designed to give you the information you need to get your DSLR off auto and start using the camera as a creative tool. This is a three hour, hands-on, photography workshop. The adult class is offered only twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. This workshop tends to fill up fast so if you are interested don’t hesitate to send me a message and get on the roster.
This is a private lesson opportunity for students of all ages. It is designed to help the student grow from where they are, beginner or more advanced. Topics are decided on together so that we can focus our efforts on what is important to you in meeting your personal photographic goals. Mentoring sessions are done in an 6 week sequence, each one hour in length, with the first meeting being used to discuss long-term goals, scheduling, and to lay out a course of study. Although these lessons are done in an 6-week sequence, you may start at any time of the year.
If you have any questions about classes and workshops or would like to register, send me a message. I’d love to see you in the studio!
